Orbit Sum: Probability and Payout Examples

The Orbit Sum demo uses two pointers to generate a sum modulo 7. Your payout depends on the arc you select and the final result. This guide explains the math with actual simulation data.

How the Game Works

Two independent pointers draw numbers from 0 to 6. These are added together and reduced modulo 7, creating a uniform distribution across 0 to 6. You choose an arc of 1, 2, or 3 positions starting at zero. If the result lands in your arc, you win. The gross return is 6.72× for a 1-position arc, 3.36× for two positions, and 2.24× for three positions. Any result outside your arc returns zero.

Stakes and Settlement

Stakes are 10, 25, 50, or 100 virtual coins, with 25 as the default. The stake is deducted immediately at the start of the round. Payouts are calculated in hundredths. Fractional carry is preserved separately, while only whole coins are credited to your balance. Automatic settlement occurs when the reveal ends. You cannot manually stop or resume; reloading discards unfinished rounds without refund.

Simulation Evidence

Simulations confirm the expected return of 96%. For a 1-position arc, 1,000,000 rounds showed a simulated RTP of 95.74%. The 2-position arc achieved 96.07% RTP, and the 3-position arc achieved 96.07% RTP. These figures align with the theoretical gross payout of 0.96. Results vary slightly due to random chance but consistently hover near the expected value.
